How to Join

The Nitric Acid Climate Action Group is open to all parties, including governments, institutions and representatives from the private sector, who want to support the goal of abating nitrous oxide emissions from nitric acid production in a sustainable manner.

You are invited to contact us and express your interest to join the NACAG. If you want to show your support for the initiative and its objective to phase out nitrous oxide emissions from all nitric acid plants worldwide, you can sign the Declaration.

Governments are furthermore invited to sign the Statement of Undertaking and thereby formally join NACAG. This document encompasses the commitment to permanently mitigate nitrous oxide emissions from nitric acid plants from 2021 onwards.

Plant operators based in countries that have joined NACAG can apply for grants by filling in and signing the Grant Application Notice. If the application is successful, plant operators can receive technical advice and financial support for installing and maintaining abatement technology.
