Interview with State Secretary Jochen Flasbarth (BMU) on NACAG

In an interview with the magazine Carbon Mechanisms Review (CMR), State Secretary Jochen Flasbarth of Germany’s Environmental Ministry (BMU) presents the work of the Nitric Acid Climate Action Group. Mr. Flasbarth emphasises NACAG’s important role in the fight against climate change and specifically highlights the importance of transforming the nitric acid sector globally to reach the goals of the Paris Agreement, explicitly welcoming positive signals from both governments and industry in many countries. He furthermore lauds NACAG’s unique approach that combines technical and financial support with a firm partner country commitment to ensure continuous and permanent abatement of emissions.
