NACAG´s partner plant operator in Tunisia, Groupe Chimique Tunisien, in Gabes, Tunisia, has opened a call for international competitive bidding for required N2O monitoring equipment to be installed in their nitric acid plant. This activity takes place as part of the implementation of a N2O abatement measure under the NACAG initiative.
The tendering procedure closes at 12:00 PM Central European Time on 20. April 2022.

NACAG finances the procurement and installation of the respective technology under a grant agreement signed with Groupe Chimique Tunisien in March 2021. The signing of the agreement followed the Tunisian Government’s firm commitment to ensure the effective and permanent mitigation of nitrous oxide emissions from nitric acid production from 2024 onwards.
Groupe Chimique Tunisien has also announced the international tender for the N2O abatement technology.
