In a step towards industrial decarbonization, JSC „Navoiyazot“, one of Uzbekistan’s largest chemical producers and a key nitric acid manufacturer, is launching a market survey for the procurement of advanced Nitrous Oxide (N₂O) monitoring equipment. This project is being done together with NACAG, showing the plant’s strong commitment to cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
Details on participation in the market survey, including submission guidelines and deadlines can be found here. Market Survey for the procurement of continuous N2O emissions monitoring system (CEMS)
The market survey ends at: 31.05.2025
The primary aim of the market survey is to assess available state-of-the-art N₂O monitoring technologies that could be integrated into the plant’s operations. The equipment will play a vital role in accurately tracking emissions from nitric acid production – a major source of N₂O, a greenhouse gas with a Global Warming Potential 273 times higher than CO₂.
International and national suppliers and manufacturers of environmental monitoring systems are encouraged to express their interest and share technical details of suitable equipment. This market survey is a preliminary step towards a potential future tender process, which will be financed through NACAG support.
