On 15 November, Soluciones Químicas para el Campo y la Industria S.A. de C.V. launched the open international tender process for the acquisition of nitrous oxide (N2O) monitoring technology for its nitric acid plant located in Minatiltán, Veracruz, Mexico.

The tender will be open from 15 November 2024 to 19 February 2025. Suppliers of N2O monitoring technology are encouraged to review the terms and conditions and submit their proposals in accordance with the established guidelines.
Soluciones Químicas, a leading nitrogen fertilizer producer in Mexico with over 50 years of experience, took a significant step towards sustainability in September 2024 by signing a contract for the implementation of tertiary nitrous oxide abatement technology. This tender for monitoring technology aims to complement its existing system for managing and reducing nitrous oxide emissions effectively.
The initiative is funded through a grant agreement between Soluciones Químicas and the NACAG initiative.
